Why would you want to buy a custom essay? Some institutions have labelled the purchase of custom essays as cheating and the use of such papers as plagiarism. We think this is unjustified. If you buy a custom paper and use it like you would use any other book or journal, then it is neither cheating nor plagiarism. Learning by example is the most natural way to learn!

When you buy a custom essay, you need to make sure the company you use is legitimate. There are many rogue companies operating on the net, but there are also some honest ones. Watch out for these things.

Many rogue sites operate from Karachi, employing writers for the equivalent of £100 per year to write papers for them. Logically, the quality of papers is poor and you have no comeback under UK or European Law. If you want to use a UK company, check the following (don't be fooled by the domain name - ANYONE can buy a co.uk domain):

- The company provides UK Bank Details for their UK based high street bank such as Barclays, Lloyds TSB, Natwest etc (very hard to do if you're based in Karachi!)

- The company has a UK phone number - NOT 0808 or 0845, but a number with a genuine UK area code, such as 0115 (Nottingham), 020 (London) or 01623 (Mansfield).

- The company is registered at Companies House, has a registered trading number, VAT number and a registered trading address. By UK law, this MUST be displayed on their website. Don't take their word for it either, CHECK the details - it's free on the Companies House website (WebCheck).

Other telltale signs of foreign companies include unusual ringtones, failure to answer the phone, very low prices, blatantly false promises (such as that all writers have a PhD but the essays are only $10 each - how many PhD holders do you know that would write for $10?).
